Ever since the dawn of social dancing, people have been combining dance styles into an intertwined fusion of dance expression. Hot Night Fusion Weekend is a full weekend event that caters to the roots of the fusion community, and how it has grown in Colorado.

This year, Hot Night Fusion Weekend is all about creating a container space for "ReConnection"- to your dance practice, your dance partners, and your dance community. During the day you can expect high-quality instruction from amazing partner dance instructors so whether you want to deepen your experience with partnered connection or incorporate crossover influences into your current style, HNFW has workshops for you.

In the evenings our DJs will play music designed for crossover/fusion dancing, allowing you to play with a variety of dance styles and techniques; creating space for different dance backgrounds to connect on the dance floor. All of this amazing fusion and connection is happening in the Performing Arts District in downtown Denver, with a vast variety of original Denver cuisine, bars, breweries, and cafes within walking distance. Tinto de Fusion 10/19/2023 City: Alcaraz Dances: Fusion Four days of dancing and lazing about in the the Spanish countryside, enjoying the last bit of warmth from the season. There will be a light class schedule during the day, and dancing all night long to incredible music under the stars.

The historic countryside schoolhouse will look familiar to those of you who were at EBX or Tinto de Recess. Expect a wide array of music from blues, soul, funk, hip hop, dance hall, latin, to electronic, and everything in between.

We envision a space where social partner dancers come together as social partner dancers first and then dancers of a style, to recognize that there is one language of social partner dancing and we chose whether or not to dance dialects of that language.

We will be having two rooms during the main party with changing themes every hour throughout the night. These themes are dance style agnostic and the majority of the music played will not be of a particular dance style, more details to come.

The Dance Thing is a summertime fusion weekend just north of Seattle, WA. At night you’ll be dancing to your favorite live and DJ’d music until the wee hours of the morning.
